We created this arrow themed project at a Craft Night this past summer. Craft Night is the held on the first Wednesday of every month for only $5. We do many Pinterest inspired projects regularly. It was a lot of fun and everyone was so creative. It seems like arrows have been very popular with home decor pieces, clothing and even tattoos!
To be prepared for supplies in this class, I chopped up some wood fence pieces that were purchased at Lowes. Then, I printed off simple shapes off of the computer for our stencil of the arrow.
Attendees had the option of tracing the stencil and then painting in the arrow.
Or another option, which is a bit more challenging, is to trace the stencil and then hammer nail tacks on the lines to string up yarn or string. You could also nail the tacks directily on the stencils, like shown below, then pull out paper.
How ever you deciede to create this project, im sure it will turn out wonderful! Some of our crafters at the museum got even more creative with their style.
