Seems that these rustic wood signs are so very popular these days. They are great for the fall season and upcoming holiday of Thanksgiving! No need to purchase one when you can make it very inexpensively with a few simple steps!
Take a piece of wood, I cut plywood 12in x 12 in. Or find any wood board that is available.
Print out this document of “Grateful, Thankful, Blessesed”. I ripped the sides of the paper to make it look more aged.
Apply mod podge to the wood, attach paper, and apply more mod podge on top of paper.
I then took a paint brush with just a little bit of white paint and added it to the wood and paper sparingly. This step blended the paper in with the wood a bit more for a cohesive look.
Then, take twine and wrap it around the sides a few times to your liking.
In order to have your creation hang, I tied a large loop underneath the twine like picture below.
Using a hot glue gun, add faux leaves for the finishing touch!
We will be creating this project in our next Craft Night!
