We love February – it’s the month of LOVE! We have fun activities planned leading up to Valentine’s Day, starting with craft night for adults on the 6th, then Create Your Own Valentine’s Box on February 11 from 4-7 and Kid’s Valentine’s Parties on both the 13th and 14th.
We are excited to have a new series called “Learning to Talk about Race with Storytime and Conversation” brought to you by Julia with South Dakotans Against Racism. Julia will be here to read stories and facilitate conversations with children and families multiple times through the month. Learn more about this event on our website.
Tickets are on sale for our 2nd Annual Storybook Ball on Saturday, March 9, from 3:00-5:00. The theme for this year's fundraising event is Superheroes and children (and adults) are encouraged to dress up in their favorite costume or dress. We sold out of tickets last year and are looking forward to another great event. For more information and to purchase tickets, visit our Storybook Ball page.
Don’t forget our Wednesday hours have changed. We now open for our children’s activities at 10:00am as we are partnering with One Million Cups to host their Wednesday morning community event.
We thank you so very much for your patronage and hope to see you soon.
