The wonderful temperatures this week remind us that we are now in fall season. These last few warm days are perfect ones for spending time outdoors before winter is upon us, but know that if you’re looking for indoor fun, we’re open Monday through Wednesday from 9:00am-4:00pm for our kid’s activities and we’d love to have you join us.
We have some great new classes in October for teens and adults! Whether you’re an aspiring artist, a wanna-be chef, or a DIY enthusiast, we have a class for you. This month, our class offerings include: 4-week Methods of Drawing, Craft Night, Art Journaling, Card Making, Cooking Class with Co-op Natural Foods, Rosemaling, and Green Cleaning! To learn more about these exciting classes, including dates and registration information, visit our website or Facebook events page.
The last few months of the year also mean it’s time for holiday parties! This year, we’re doing our Halloween party a bit differently. We had an overwhelming turnout to last year’s event and unfortunately, not all that came were able to get in. As such, this year, our event is a free ticketed event through Eventbrite. We’ve structured the tickets so you only need to bring 1 ticket for your family of 5 or less and you can get 2 tickets it you have a larger family. Tickets are limited, so be sure to grab yours soon before we are sold out. For admission, we still request that you bring a canned good donation for Feeding South Dakota. Our Halloween party will have a DIY photo area for you to take your own pictures of your trick-or-treater, crafts, and games. Tickets and more information can be found at our Facebook event page. Stay tuned to our November and December newsletters for details on other upcoming holiday parties.
We thank you so very much for your patronage and hope to see you soon.
