Painting is a popular activity among many kids (and adults). Mixing colors, making pictures to go on the fridge, using brushes to create different stokes is a fun, but messy project. The hassle of cleaning the brushes and paint palettes afterwards can be an unwanted chore.
A solution to an easy clean up paint activity would be using disposable items around your home as paint brushes. Children will enjoy a new way of creating their painting masterpiece without using or dirtying a single brush. It will require them a new way of being creative using shapes and forms to create their picture.
First step, is placing paint colors on multiple paper plates. Then grab a few items you wouldn’t mind throwing away to place on different plates to use as painting tools. Some ideas to use around your home would be corks, bottle caps, paper cups, plastic cutlery, paper towel rolls, scrunched up tissue paper, sticks and more!
