We wanted to share some photos of our special Valentine’s week! Last week was a blast as the Museum got into the Valentines spirit! Crafts, storytimes, decorations, games and some extra extended museum hours made the week extra great!
On Monday, we kicked off the week by extending our craft area hours into the evening to create Valentines Boxes. We had an assortment of paper, adhesives, and a wide variety of art supplies and other materials to create some unique boxes. Kids, along with their parents brought in their ideas for their project.
Check out what a few of our guests came up with!
Wednesday we had our Valentines Day Party for kids. We do not usually have kids’ activities on Thursday, but we were open 9am-noon for a little extra Valentines fun!
A few games were available for our party-goers to try!
We love our crafts around here! So, with a little (a lot)help from Pinterest we had several craft stations!
Museum was looking pretty festive with our Valentines decor!
We had several storytimes on Tuesday & Wednesday. Take a look at our Valentines book collection!
We also got “heart attacked” by one of our patrons. They decorated our atrium with a little love! What a great idea!
