Happy #WeddingWednesday! Fall has been a whirlwind of so many beautiful events we were able to host over the past few months. Today's blog is taking us all the way back to September to capture a look into Scottie and Mieke's gorgeous, intimate wedding held here on September 30, 2018. Prairie Lane Vintage Rentals, with many eye-catching rentals and styling skills, captured their vision perfectly. Although the set-up process was still underway during these photos, we were able to capture mostly everything set up for the event.
Beginning in the Atrium, guests were greeted with a welcome sign, various decorated cocktail tables, and a vintage dresser adorned with some of the couple's favorite photos.
For this particular event, we were able to utilize pipe and drape to split the room into two seperate spaces for the ceremony and the reception. The ceremony area featured pews for the guest seating. For their ceremony, the couple met up at the arched windows where four white doors adorned with a large greenery wreath awaited them.
Following the ceremony, a reception took place in the other half of the Main Gallery. Chandeliers were hung above the reception tables which featured both white linens and white chair covers. Guest tables were decorated with large silver bowls filled with white floral in the center, tea lights, and pre-set glassware. While the guest tables were gorgeous, the head table commanded the attention in the room. From the backdrop of wooden doors decorated with a small wreath to the elegant vintage furniture and decor, the theme was tied together beautifully at the head table.
Congratulations Scottie and Mieke! Thank you for choosing the Museum of Visual Materials!
