Winter is officially here and you might be looking for a few creative projects to keep your kid(s) busy and warm inside. Give these winter themed art projects a try! We had a lot of fun using sponges and q- tips to create our snowy art!
Penguin Painting:
Using a pencil, draw a circle for the penguin’s head and a rounded triangle for body. This will give your little one a guide of where to paint in white. Use a round sponge with white paint to fill in penciled area. You can find sponges at craft stores, walmart or on amazon.
Use a smaller round sponge with black paint to dab around the white shape. Create arms using the same black sponge. You will need a small piece of orange construction paper to glue on the beak. Googley eyes can be glues on or paint your own eyes in. Do not forget his feet with a few dots of orange paint for the feet!
