Messy Recipes for the Kids!

Fluffy Slime

Ingredients:
Washable School Glue
Contact solution that includes boric acid and sodium borate in ingredients
Baking Soda
Shaving Cream
Food Coloring

Supplies:
Measuring Cups & Spoons
1 bowl

Instructions:

Add 3-4 cups of shaving cream to bowl
Mix in ½ cup of glue
Add food coloring if desired
Mix in ½ teaspoon baking soda
Add 1 tablespoon of contact solution
Stir with spoon, then knead with hands

Note: When mixing, slime will be sticky. Keep kneading! Add a little more contact solution at a time, then knead. If you add to much contact solution the slime may become too hard and won’t be as stretchy to play with.

Clear Borax Slime

Ingredients:
Washable Clear School Glue
Borax
Water
Food Coloring

Supplies:
Measuring Cups & Spoons
2 bowls

Instructions:

Mix ½ cup of glue and ½ cup of water into bowl
Add food coloring if desired
Mix ½ teaspoon of borax in ½ cup warm water in another bowl
Add to glue mixture
Stir with spoon, then knead with hands

Puffy Paint

Ingredients:
White School Glue
Shaving Cream
Flour
Food Coloring

Supplies:
Measuring Spoons

Instructions:

Combine 1tbs. glue with about 3 small squirts of shaving cream
Add1 tbs. of four
Use puffy paint to paint on a simple coloring sheet or create your own masterpiece. It will take about a day to dry.
Add drops of food coloring and optional glitter

Quick Science Experiment

Ingredients:
Dish Soap
Whole Milk
Food Coloring
Q Tip

Supplies:
Q- Tip
Bowl or Tray

Instructions:
1. Fill the bottom of tray or bowl with whole milk
2. Drop food coloring into milk
3.Dip q-tip into dish soap
4. Swirl q-tip around in milk and watch the reaction!
