We have had such an exciting year at the Museum. With all of our little visitors learning through our children’s activities and summer camps, our adults having a great time at our education and craft classes, and the couples saying “I Do,” we hope you and your family had a great time visiting the Museum. We are so thankful to be a place for the community to play, learn, grow, and celebrate!
We want to end the month with a few fun activities. Our Craft Night for December still has a few spots we can fill, and we also have sign ups available for our January-March craft nights too if you want to get on the list! The Sioux Falls Arts Council will be hosting their bimonthly mixer, which is open to the public, on the 7th from 3-7pm. Finally, Regina William Brunz’s Art Reception will be from 7-9pm on Friday, December 8th. Her art will be up in our Main Gallery through the end of the month. To learn more about these events, including dates and registration information, visit our website or Facebook events page.
Finally, on December 14th, we will be hosting our annual Kid’s Christmas Party. The ticketed event will happen between 5:30-7:00pm. While the tickets are free through Eventbrite (available on November 30), we are asking for a free will donation at the event to help support our free children’s activities. A $5-10 donation per family is suggested. Thank you for your generosity.
Would you mind buying us a Christmas present this year? You can find ideas of craft supplies we use through our Amazon wish list (but you can purchase any similar product through your favorite retailer) or you can help us make our own purchases by donating on our website. And, as we are a private nonprofit, your gift may be eligible for a tax deduction (please consult your tax advisor).
We will be closed on December 25th in observance of the Christmas holiday and January 1st for the New Year holiday. Otherwise, we look forward to seeing you on Monday through Wednesday from 9:00am-4:00pm for our kid’s activities.
We wish you and your family a Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays! We thank you so very much for your patronage and hope to see you soon.
